Cost optimization, CO2 reduction, climate neutrality and risk minimization in the supply chain will play an important role in industry in the upcoming years. Energy and industrial plants as well as air traffic are already subject to the obligation to compensate for resulting CO2 emissions by means of certificates. An expansion of the affected industries as well as an increase in CO2 costs or the certificate price can be assumed for the future.

CO2 Consulting and Green Data
The CO2 database of POLARIXPARTNER supports our customers to have an overview of the CO2 balance for the production and the products. The Green TCO Approach
With the new calculation approach POLARIXPARTNER supports its customers in determining emissions transparently over the entire product creation process (TCO approach). We have an extensive material database with more than 1,000 CO2 equivalents (CO2e), such as aluminum, that can be automatically adjusted for specific countries.
In addition, the CO2 emissions generated are allocated to the respective product with second-by-second precision using the necessary machines for production and the corresponding cycle times in order to determine the carbon footprint.
Scheduled operation simulation with Green Data
Overheads can be adjusted by means of planned operation simulation and tailored precisely to our customer’s needs. The logistics calculator of POLARIXPARTNER also offers the possibility to calculate CO2 emissions for inbound as well as outbound logistics. Thus POLXARIXPARTNER is able to create a fully comprehensive CO2 balance of a product based on the Green TCO approach to enable efficient climate management and achieve climate neutrality.
